KBEMF sisterhoodKBEMF 2010 Conference was held at Sierra Lodge, where we had some sweet time of worship, inspirational sharing, fellowship, and some good food.

We were hoping that this conference, there would be some kayaking, but who would have thought that we would have snow in April?  But that caused us to stay together and share a lot of time with each other, which was what our conference was designed for.  Nice.

And we weren’t going to let some snow stop us from playing basketball, so we played a few games of 3-on-3, which caused some Texan lungs to go into shock, because of the altitude.

sharing timeAnd who could forget the 2 hour session of retro-praise around the campfire which reminded us of the good 0ld days for the good old people?  Do you remember the song “Are you tired of chasing pretty rainbows?”  We could not believe how many songs we could remember!

Please check out the photo page for some pictures from the conference.

Check out the video below for a clip of the retropraise time that we were able to enjoy.

We talked about some books that were useful reads, but for those of you who want to just get an overview of the books before diving deeper, here are some good old Cliff Notes for the books… Helpful excerpts collected by Pastor Jonathan of Gracepoint Davis.

Please click on this post (title above) to take a look at the resources that we had talked about during the KBEMF conference 2010.

Here are the directions to Sierra Lodge:

If possible, please bring warm jacket and boots, as there will be snow on the ground..  Below is a video of what it looks like from the basketball court area.
